What a History! What a ride! We were there in the lowest of lows and we were there in the highest of highs. That's what makes us Gamecocks! We don't quit! We don't give up! We keep coming back time after time and when we suceed "Oh How sweet it is!"

In 1994, Jack and Scott Bailey had a vision of putting Gamecock information on the World Wide Web. Jack Norton actually led the way and created the First Gamecock Web Site. The constant upkeep of the site by himself eventually "burned him out" so to speak but He deserves all of the credit for Originating Gamecocks on the Web. He turned the site over to Jack and Scott and they kept the site going and created the Gamecock News and Recruiting service.

In 1995, the first Gamecock Message Board was created and then the first Gamecock Chat room. Suddenly, the Open Access of the message board and chat room was challenged by a legion of filthy mouthed web jerks. Scott and Jack hurriedly put up a New message board that required Usernames and Passwords. Others helped test the New message board and so as to keep the original intact while the testing was going on, the message board was installed in a directory called WB2. Gamecock fans began calling the second message board The Deuce and the name stuck.

WWW.USCOCKS.COM and THE DEUCE moved to the Rivals Network in January of 2000. After the collapse of Rivals.com in April 2001, Alliance Sports RE-Emergenced. USCCOCKS.COM (aka The Deuce) came back in force on June 16, 2001. Long gone are the days of editing HTML and Perl Scripts with Notepad. Long gone are the days of FTPing updates to a slow server and emailing an Adminstrator to apply the updates. Long gone are the days of Webboard crashes and Server Crashes. Long Gone are the days of making a mistake and requiring 24 hours to correct it. Yes, there were times when Jack and Scott "Burned Out" but they kept that Gamecock Flame, though dimly lit at times, still going.

Well The Deuce is Back! and we think you will find that it's better than ever. We are putting a great deal of emphasis on providing you with a Gamecock Home and all of the Gamecock Information that you can stand (After all... We are Gamecocks!)
